The Rainbow Bridge at Ben’s Place
The Rainbow Bridge at Ben’s Place overlooks the open fields that surround the sanctuary. It is a memorial. A shrine. A tribute to all the dogs that spent their final days at Ben’s Place. Their collars hang on the bridge and tell the world that they were here. That they mattered. That they are not forgotten.
The Rainbow Bridge is not just for the Ben’s Place dogs, but for all the pets we have loved and lost. Open to the public, anyone is welcome to add a memento of their pet to the bridge.
“It isn’t possible to love and part. You will wish that it was. You can transmute love, ignore it, muddle it, but you can never pull it out of you. I know by experience that the poets are right: love is eternal.” —E.M. Forster
